In 2002, two guys from Viseu, in Portugal, but established in London since the 80's, decided to take over a old small restaurant, to improve it, to make it much bigger and to show what Portuguese Cuisine is really about. The goal of Fernando Marques and Gabriel Jesus was not only to please the big Portuguese community already established in London, but as well to make known to all London the richness of the Portuguese Cuisine and the quality of the Portuguese wines. If you are looking for a restaurant serving authentic Portuguese Cuisine in London, then this is the place to be! Portuguese food in A Toca is exceptional, the menu has an extensive range of delicious options the chef has selected various Portuguese delicacies to whet ones appetite.

Our restaurant is very well located in centre London, in the Vauxhall area, and you can easily find a place to park your car. Bus 77, 87, 196 and P5 stops on Wandsworth just nearby our door. Our main room is big and can seats 75 guests. We also have two private rooms for parties and events and each one can seats around 30 guests. You’re able to select anything off our traditional Portuguese cuisine menu but also get the option of Portuguese speciality set meals. In the morning, from 7am, the place is open as a Portuguese cafe and guests can enjoy a nice breakfast with some Portuguese patisserie like the "pastel de nata", known as Portuguese custard tart.
